About

About Ambar Jain

I'm an AI product leader building the intelligence layer for recruitment, hiring, and education. I've taken two enterprise platforms from zero to production — TechScore (AI candidate assessment) and TalentAI (recruitment intelligence) — after a decade building award-winning EdTech products.

I own product end-to-end: setting vision and architecture, then shipping — wearing both product and engineering hats. My edge is range, grounded in a PhD physicist's rigor: a founder's instinct for 0→1, and an educator's feel for how people actually learn and grow.

Experience

Building AI products & the teams behind them

2022 — Now

Sr. Director, Product Innovation · BayOne Solutions

HireTech & assessment platforms, built from scratch — Delhi NCR (Remote)

  • Architected and launched TechScore.ai, used to evaluate 12,000+ candidates for Cisco, Walmart, Google, Atlassian, Albertsons, LAM Research, etc.
  • Built a résumé & work-experience evaluation engine that cut screening time 60%, and workflow automation that reduced time-to-hire 30%.
  • Designed a behavioral-assessment engine profiling a candidate across 11 dimensions from three scenario questions — 700+ evaluations per candidate, plus a deception-detection layer.
  • Built TalentAI's recruitment pipeline — sourcing, résumé & job parsing, semantic matching, AI phone screening, and advanced assessments (including AI-assisted problem-solving and coding), with an efficient ATS integration — AI woven into each stage so recruiters can engage a wide variety of candidates with far less effort.
  • Invented its semantic experience-matching engine and a self-growing skill ontology — surfacing strong, non-obvious candidates and compounding in accuracy with every résumé and role processed.
  • Built an AI proctoring system across both platforms — video & audio monitoring, voice diarization, candidate detection from facial features, clothing & build, and frame-by-frame reconstruction of likely activity, plus gaze, headgear, device-use and browser/keyboard detection — to flag integrity issues in remote assessments.

Signature Expertise

Built pedagogy: when the room teaches

Most people have never heard the term — but everyone has felt it. Built pedagogy is the principle that a learning space is never neutral: its architecture and furniture quietly teach, encoding and enforcing a way of learning before a word is spoken. Design the room, and you've already designed the learning.

Fixed rows
One voice, one direction — space that trains compliance and transmission.
Flexible clusters
No fixed front, movable tables, writable walls — space that invites collaboration and inquiry.

I'm a leading expert in built pedagogy in India. I've designed and built modern learning spaces from these principles (Studio AIR at IISER Bhopal), and consulted universities and institutions on creating spaces that are built-pedagogy compliant.
